Esta es la wiki de la clase de español 1020 de la Universidad de Colorado en Boulder.
En esta página vamos a escribir un cuento entre todos.

Instrucciones:

Español

• Por favor, no hagáis cambios en esta página.
• Hay una página que se llama "El cuento" (está debajo de "All pages"). En esta página vais a escribir un cuento entre todos. Todos podéis contribuir y modificar la historia.
• Para escribir en la página "El cuento", hay que hacer click en el botón "Edit"que está arriba a la derecha.
• Para guardar los cambios tienes que hacer click en el botón "Save".
• A la derecha de "edit" está el botón de discusión . Aquí podéis escribir en inglés para compartir ideas y dudas sobre el cuento y también para discutir sobre los cambios propuestos.
• También podéis usar el botón para ver los comentarios. Si quieres escribir un comentario primero tienes que estar en modo edición, después tienes que resaltar una palabra u oración y después tienes que hacer click en
• Podéis añadir enlaces o imágenes en el cuento.
• En cuanto a la gramática, para escribir un cuento es importante la diferencia entre pretérito e imperfecto.

• PISTAS:
  • Los personajes: ¿Cómo se llaman? ¿Cómo son? ¿Qué personalidad tienen? Construye los personajes de la historia.
  • Los lugares: ¿Dónde viven los personajes? ¿En qué otros lugares sucede la historia? Describe estos lugares.
  • La historia: vais a escribir un cuento así que tiene que ser una historia fantástica ¡Usa tu imaginación!

CALIFICACIÓN

• Este proyecto de escritura colaborativa servirá como Composición #2
• Cada estudiante tiene que escribir al menos 125 palabras consecutivas.
• Tenéis que decidir el orden de escritura (en el foro de discusión): quien va a escribir primero, segundo, tercero, etc.
• Dar feedback (gramática, contenido y estructura) a otros compañeros y hacer correcciones también es un requisito. Tienes que editar las contribuciones de los demás al menos 7 veces.
• Sólo voy a contar las correcciones significativas. No hagas correcciones sólo porque sí.
• Por favor, utiliza el foro de discusión o los comentarios antes de realizar correcciones en el cuento
• No traduzcas del inglés. Puedes usar un diccionario pero no un traductor automático.
• Habrá una calificación para el trabajo en grupo y para el trabajo individual.
• Tenéis dos semanas para completar el primer borrador (ENTREGA EL 25 DE OCTUBRE)
• Tenéis una semana más para completar la versión final (ENTREGA EL 1 DE NOVIEMBRE)

¿Por qué este proyecto en lugar de una composición normal?

Vivimos en un mundo conectado y normalmente lo que sabemos es la suma de lo que nosotros y nuestra red sabe. Interaccionamos constantemente para crear inteligencia colectiva que se desarrolla mediante cooperación. Creo que este concepto se puede aplicar al aprendizaje de un idioma extranjero, y la tecnología proporciona las herramientas necesarias para que esto ocurra.

Por eso creo que la escritura colaborativa usando una wiki así como la discusión y la retroalimentación de los compañeros de clase puede facilitar la creación de conocimiento del que la clase se beneficiará.

• To edit the page "El cuento", you need to click the "Edit"button on the right corner.
• To save the changes, you need to click the "Save" button.

• About the grammar, when writing a fairytale, the difference between pretérito and imperfecto is very important.

• CLUES:
  • Characters: What are their names? How are they? What is their personality? Build the characters of the tale.
  • Places: Where do the characters live? What other places does the story take place? Describe those places.
  • The story: you are writing a fairytale so it should be a fantasy story ¡Use your imagination!

GRADING

• This collaborative writing project will count as Composition #2
• Each student has to write at least 125 consecutive words.
• You all need to decide the writing order (using the discussion forum): who is going to write first, second, third, etc.
• Giving feedback (grammar, content and structure) to other classmates and making corrections is also a requirement. You need to edit others contributions at least 7 times.
• Only meaningful corrections will count. Do not make corrections only for the sake of it.
• Please use the discussion forum or comments before making any correction to the tale.
• Do not translate from English. You can use a dictionary but not an automatic translator.
• Group work and individual work will be graded separately using a rubric.
• You will have two weeks to complete the first draft (DUE OCTOBER 25TH)
• You will have one more week for the final draft (DUE NOVEMBER 1ST)

Why this project instead of a regular composition?

We live in a connected world and usually what we know is the sum of what we and our network knows. We interact constantly to create a collective intelligence that develops through cooperation. I believe that this concept can be applied to foreign language learning, and technology provides the necessary tools for this to happen.

That is why I believe that collaborative writing using a wiki as well as discussion and classmates' feedback can facilitate the creation of knowledge from which the class will benefit.
